Q. How much is an initial inspection of my property?
A. If you are the property owner the inspection is free of charge. Please call one of our advisors who can arrange a suitable date for your assessment on 01689 800101. If you do not own the property the survey costs £56+VAT.

Q. Do you use outside contractors for the installation?
A. No! The system is fitted by our own trained and  highly skilled staff.

Q. Why does the Schrijver System have to be installed into all of the external walls of the property?
A. The system was designed to be installed in all external walls, firstly as it is a totally natural system and secondly to ensure there is enough elements installed to cope with the amount of damp. Only if the system is installed in this way can we give our full guarantees.

Q How long is the system Guaranteed for?
A. The system comes with a life time guarantee. We also offer a 12 month money back guarantee.

Q. Is there any building you cannot install into?
A. The Schrijver System can be installed into most types of properties built from brick, stone, or concrete, with solid or cavity walls. The system has been installed into lighthouses, churches and castles, barn conversions and windmills.

Q. Do you only install into private properties?
A. No, whilst most of our work involves private properties, we have also installed the Schrijver System for private landlords, housing associations, businesses and charity organisations.

Q. How long will the installation take?
A. It depends on the size and construction of the property. Usually we complete an installation within 1-2 days.

Q. How many elements will you insert in my walls?
A. This depends on the size of the property, we always install approx 2.3 elements per 1 meter.

Q. How far do the elements protrude from the building?
A. 3cm

Q. How quickly can you come to assess the property for damp?
A. It depends on the area where the property is based, but usually 2-10 days.
